FOMO overtakes Axiom as crypto's top-earning trading app, with 2.7 million users
The self-custodial social trading app now leads every trading app on DeFiLlama in 30-day revenue, charging about half of Axiom's fee. Its user count has roughly quadrupled since June.
FOMO, the self-custodial social trading app, has passed Axiom as the trading app earning the most revenue over the past 30 days on any chain, according to DeFiLlama data first reported by Crypto Briefing on October 20. Crypto Briefing put FOMO's 30-day revenue at about $19.88 million, from roughly $20.99 million in fees.

We checked DeFiLlama's trading app rankings on the morning of October 21 (Lisbon time). The fomo Wallet listing showed $17.31 million in 30-day revenue, ahead of Axiom at $16.14 million and GMGN at $15.53 million. Counting all of FOMO's products, including its perps interface, the total was $18.70 million. The numbers move daily, which is why they sit a little below Crypto Briefing's figure.

The lead depends on how you measure it. Over the latest seven days Axiom earned more ($2.60 million against $1.99 million for fomo Wallet on the same DeFiLlama snapshot), and Axiom still collects far more in gross fees: $33.9 million over 30 days against $18.3 million for fomo Wallet. TokenPost explains the gap: Axiom's revenue figure deducts the referral and cashback payouts it makes to traders, while FOMO's only excludes referral fees. For September as a calendar month, TokenPost counted $31.53 million in revenue for fomo Wallet, $18.35 million for Axiom and $40.34 million for GMGN.
From 625,000 to 2.7 million users
FOMO said more than 625,000 people had joined when it announced a $75 million Series B in June, according to TokenPost. By October 1, co-founder Park Se-yong told Bloomingbit the app had 2.7 million users, about 17 months after its public launch in May 2025. The user base roughly quadrupled in about four months.

The company has raised $94 million in total. Crypto Briefing reports that Index Ventures led the Series B at a $550 million valuation.
Why traders moved
Price is the main reason Crypto Briefing gives. FOMO takes about 0.5% on each swap, while Axiom charges about 1%, according to the outlet. For someone trading meme coins many times a day, that cuts the fee on every trade in half. By late August, FOMO had about 46% of daily Solana trading terminal volume and Axiom's share was under 30%, Crypto Briefing reported.
FOMO's social features are the other draw. The app shows users what other traders are buying and selling in real time and lets them copy trades. After a trade, users can post why they bought and link articles or X posts. The app also pays Solana gas fees for its users and handles bridging across the seven networks it supports, which include Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain. Park told Bloomingbit that meme coins make up about half of trading on the app, and that FOMO plans to add tokenized stocks, RWAs and stablecoin yield products. It has no token and is aiming for an IPO instead.
Revenue has cooled since the summer
User growth has kept going while weekly revenue has fallen. Crypto Briefing tracked FOMO's weekly protocol revenue climbing from a then-record $1.57 million in the week ending July 27 to a peak of $9.59 million in September. By October 13 it had dropped for five straight weeks to $3.96 million, 59% below the peak, as onchain activity cooled across the market.

So FOMO reached the 30-day top spot while earning well below its summer pace. The next test is whether Axiom cuts its fee.
